The 'correct' solution is to install the 'autoconf', 'automake', 'gettext',
'libtool' and 'intltool' packages from your distribution -- this will allow you
to avoid this, and various other build related bugs.

Running 'paranoid-install' in bootstrap/ is frowned upon by the GARNOME
developers. Using bootstrap/ should be avoided unless you have a distribution
that is very broken, or not Linux.

The current version of the README file, and the website have been updated to
reflect this fact.
