question on building garnome 2.8

I am trying to build garnome 2.8 now.

I always using custom build on the previous versions. That mean I don't build the the gnome-game, and ephiphany.

My Linux box spec

Kernel 2.6.8.1

Previous Gnome is 2.6.2.1

Running Redhat. 9

Question.1

But yesterday, I had finish building the 2.8. I try to run the startup script. It said can not find ./bin/gnome-session

Anybody know why?

I did not use "make paranoid-install"

I only use "make install" in the ./desktop directory
