Using the new 2.8.0 Garnome on SuSE 9.1 Pro, the Mozilla build in
bootstrap fails, complaining that:
"checking for libIDL-2.0 >= 0.8.0... Package libIDL-2.0 was not found in
the pkg-config search path.
"Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libIDL-2.0.pc'
"to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
"No package 'libIDL-2.0' found"
However, libIDL-2.0 (0.8.4 from the gnome ftp site) is installed and the
pkgconfig directory (/opt/gnome/lib/pkgconfig in this case) contains
libIDL-2.0.pc and is in PKG_CONFIG_PATH.
Anyone know what's going on?
SuSE ships with an older Mozilla that I haven't removed. Any chance
that's gumming up the works?
Thanks,
billg
