Thanks, for answering Paul. Indeed after another tla update and a broad
rebuild it works for me as well.

I had some internal compiler problem with gcc 3.3 (like
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=15202) and xine-libs, but
building totem against sarges libxine-dev did work as well.

Now I have a complete stable garnome on debian sarge :)
