Hello,
I'm trying to upgrade to gnome 2.6 using garnome 2.5.92. I compiled
mostly everything in platform. Once compiled, I tried to run the
new gtk-demo. The main window opens, but if I try to do anything, it
core dumps with the following errors:

Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'gtk-demo' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was '61'.
(Details: serial 2055 error_code 61 request_code 7 minor_code 224)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
aborting...
Trace/BPT trap (core dumped)
Thanks for any suggestions,
Jason
