[ximian connector] requirements

Hi,
When I build the ximian connector from the stable garnome tree, I get a 
lot of "undefined reference" messages. A few of them I printed below. I 
have libsasl2.1 and libgnutls 0.82 installed, including header files. 
Which versions do I need? Can I disable acces to the cyrus/sasl 
mailserver, I do not need it. The README and INSTALL files are not very 
helpful.
