It has been built prior to building xrender from garnome-0.30.1, so
that part should be alright, provided garnome is correct in matching
versions of render and xrender.
And as you say, xRenderCreateCursorReq is defined in render's renderproto.h
make install of render puts renderproto.h in
/scratch/rodaz/garnome/include/X11/extensions/renderproto.h, and as
far as I can tell xrender should find it during compile.
