If, for whatever reason, your distribution or operating system does not
supply it, you can use the expat garball in GARNOME's bootstrap/ directory.
Just "cd bootstrap/expat; make install".

It would surprise me greatly if Slackware did not provide expat in some
fashion, but there's a quick way around it anyway.
