Download this file to garnome-0.30.1/desktop

http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~bobk/garnome/control-center-2.5.3-fix.tar.bz2

Then do this:

cd garnome-0.30.1/desktop
tar jxvf control-center-2.5.3-fix.tar.bz2
cd control-center
make clean; make install

The patch is provided and will install in the correct manner.
