I've had problems on SPARC Solaris somehow similar to your - the splash
won't come off, it just sits there and the logon process stops too. If I
remember, it was something with dtlogin or what... I fixed it later.
But it was 2.4.x, not 2.5 (2.6).
How did you create the entry in dtlogin? (I didn't use x86 solaris, but
I suppose, it's the same in this way). Did you use makedtlogin program
or something else?
