Installation problems

Hey all, I am having a problem building with garnome...

 

when I did the make paranoid-install it runs for a few seconds then returns this:

 

make[6]: *** [testart] Error 1
make[5]: *** [build-work/main.d/libart_lgpl-2.3.16/Makefile] Error 2
make[4]: *** [../../platform/libart_lgpl/cookies/main.d/install] Error 2
make[3]: *** [../../platform/libgnomecanvas/cookies/main.d/install] Error 2
make[2]: *** [../../platform/libbonoboui/cookies/main.d/install] Error 2
make[1]: *** [../../platform/libgnomeui/cookies/main.d/install] Error 2
make: *** [paranoid-install] Error 2

 

I apologize if this has been asked before as I am new to the list and dont have time to dig through the .gz archive files...
