gnome-terminal slow?

Hi Guys!

If you feel your g-t eats up all the cpu when
selecting text and is slow in scrolling, try
this(might wanna jump to end of that page):

Please let me know if it does enhance the performance
for you. For me, it gave amazing gains on solaris.
Lower cpu usage and 3 to 4 times faster scrolling.
