The files should be automatically generated from the .idl file using
orbit-idl-2 before the attempt to compile them. I was messing around
with it last night and whenever I removed the generated files they would
be regenerated as they should.

Maybe try touching the .idl files though the make targets should be out
of date when the target files are missing :-)

A fallback is to run orbit-idl-2 by hand. See the man page.
