RE: Failure on garnome 0.26.2 on RH9

 I'm using 0.26.2, and I found the "gar.conf.mk" file, but I don't see any
LD_LIBRARY_PATH statements on the 159.  Are you sure you didn't mean line
152, because I see it there.

Yup.  The libraries are there (and probably correct,) but configure
isn't finding them.

Without touching the system files, you should be able to edit
gar.conf.mk, and add :/usr/X11R6/lib *before* the $(LD_LIBRARY_PATH)
statement on line 159 (assuming you are using 0.26.2, otherwise find the
line that starts with LD_LIBRARY_PATH := .)
