ORBit_zero_init Errors on SuSE 8.2 Compile of Epiphany

Running through 0.27.1 on a fresh SuSE 8.2 installation (with SuSE's Mozilla 1.4 installed instead of the the 1.2.1 that ships with 8.2), all goes well until the Ephiphany build coughes this up:

An identical problem was posted to the list on 15 September, prompting a suggestion to remove the "-Werror" option in the makefiles.  I tried that, but it spawns other errors.

Anyone have an idea about fixing this? Thanks.
