quick-lounge and garnome

I recently tried to install the latest garnome (0.24.2).  I have a number of
problems with it, but one is that under it gnome-panel seems to be incompatable
with quick-lounge. gnome-panel crashes with a segfault in a loop.  It
constantly tries to restart and crashes again. When I ctrl-alt-f2 out of
xwindows I see a message:

Unable to load stock icon "go".

Has anybody any ideas on this?
