Sure, that makes a little more sense in terms of simplifying the build
of gnome-spell.

Still, I don't see the need to tie gedit to gnome-spell.  I use gedit
all the time, but have very little need for gnome-spell (I rarely us it,
and don't miss it if it's not there.)
