garnome and gnome-terminal

Hello,

I just installed garnome as root on redhat8, and now my
gnome-terminal will not start up in the default redhat gnome mode
under root. By opening a terminal as a different user, switching to
root, and trying to run gnome-terminal at the command line, I get
this output:

gnome-terminal

(gnome-terminal:8941): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to
session manager:

protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed.

** (gnome-terminal:8941): WARNING **: Failed to load Xft font

".fulldir-10:slant=0:weight=100:pixelsize=13.3333:antialias=True:hintstyle=2:hinting=True:verticallayout=False:autohint=False:globaladvance=True:dpi=96:rgba=0:scale=1:lang=en-US",
falling back to default font.

** (gnome-terminal:8941): WARNING **: Failed to load default Xft font.

So I figure I have changed a configuration file that controlled
the fonts, but I have no idea how to change it back. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Brian
