xrender compilation problem

Hello,

I am using garnome 0.24.2 to upgrade my gnome installation on SuSE sles 8.
I am just trying to get the meta/gnome-accessibility stuff installed.

As I have been working through the issues, I have had to add a number of
packages which were not installed. Now I have run into a compilation issue
that I hope someone can help with.

I get the following messages in my installation log file when I do a make
install in the meta/gnome-accessibility directory:

make[10]: Entering directory

any suggestions would be greatfully accepted and appreciated.
