and made possible by Nick Moffit's GAR magic.)

Start in garnome-0.24.2/bootstrap/xrender.
Edit the makefile and change the GARVERSION to 0.8.2
Run 'make makesum && make install'

Go in garnome-0.24.2/bootstrap/xft.
Edit the makefile and change the GARVERSION to 2.1.2
Run 'make makesum && make install'
