The checksum rule is designed to verify the integrity of the file
downloaded.  If the checksums don't match, then you have a different
file.  So, perhaps the upstream file has changed, and you should definitely
NOT just blindly update the md5sum without verifying what has changed.


Also, 0.20.0 is the most current version of garnome, maybe you should update.
