The patch wasn't applied correctly to ghex during the build of version 0.20.0.

To get it to work:

$ cd <path>/garnome-0.20.0/gnome/ghex
$ patch -F3 work/ghex-2.2.0/ghex.desktop.in files/desktop-fix.diff
comment out PATCHFILES in the Makefile
