Gaim has had notification area support in CVS since September. I
remember having to check the applet out of CVS because tit wasn't in
garnome yet.

BTW, the Gaim developers *really* don't like it when you call it GAIM.
Gaim or Gaim are ok, but they really, really don't like GAIM. (AOL
copyright reasons, not just because they want to be irritating.)
