I have updated patches for 0.28.3, but they are untested and basically
for internal use -- people should poke me directly if they are
interested in testing something that may make their GNOME 2.5.x desktops
even more insane than usual :)
In the main, i've actually been working on an update of 0.27.1 to the
latest stable 2.4 series with a bunch of compile / usability fixes, so
that people who have a good quality 'fallback' desktop when GNOME 2.5
explodes, are sorted.
As a tarball, with a stock RH9 and/or RHEL3 installation, everything
compiles _except_ alleyoop (I don't have a valgrind installation) at the
moment -- and i've been running the install locally on various desktops
for some months now.
Patches (against stable) are available at:
ftp://cipherfunk.org/pub/patches/garnome/0.27.1/
Patches against unstable will probably be uploaded over the christmas
break, if I can clean them up enough for public consumption by then :)
Regards,
Paul
