error building libbonoboui-2.4.1

out-of-the-box garnome 0.28.2 results in:

./configure: line 3428: syntax error near unexpected
token `then'
./configure: line 3428: `  echo $ECHO_N "(cached)
$ECHO_C" >& -n "$ac_ct_CC"; then'

when trying to build libbonoboui.

Commenting "then" at the end of line 3428 out, and
the "fi" in line 3446 resolves this issue.
