Can't get past libIDL in garnome-0.23.1

Hi,

I just got garnome-0.23.1  and started make install'ing it this morning,
but it seemed to break after it got to the libIDL part, and below this
message is the exact errors I received.

I am running Mandrake 9.0, if that helps.  Is there anyway to fix this
type of problem?  Thanks for any help,
