What is a GAR package?
I still don't understand what a garball is.

Are garballs the directories that appear when you unpack the tar.gz file?

The directory ../garnome-0.12.0/gnome/gnome-session/ only contains a
Makefile and checksums.  Nothing else.

Is this what you were asking?
