Running garnome on solaris

Hello,

I downloaded the latest version and all the tarballs.
I set the variable to where all the tarballs are located. (.bz2 tarballs).

FILE_SITES = file://$(FILEDIR)/ file://folks/salman/gnome2/

I went into meta/gnome-desktop 
and ran gmake and get the following.  It seems that the checksums fails for the downloaded tarball.
But I ran md5sum on  sawfish and I get the correct sum but the script craps out.  I am running sun solaris 8 with tcsh.
Any ideas?

Then the program attempts to download the tarball again and still fails the checksum.
