Xchat & Gimp1.3 wan't runn

When I run xchat e gimp1.3 (compiled with garnome-0.12.2) I obtain
this error:
garnome/bin/xchat: relocation error: /usr/lib/libpangoxft-1.0.so.0: undefined symbol: FT_Get_First_Char
Some hints?
