I'm currently half way through building the latest garnome so I'm
not sure what rhythmbox uses - but I know that OSS is the standard, fairly
simple, audio interface built into the kernel. ALSA is perferable to OSS
for drivers. ESD and arts are audio interfaces that allow more advanced
features, such as more than one process using the sound card.
On a side not what version of gstreamer and rhythmbox are included with
garnome?
I'd love to give gstreamer 4 a try but I'm told that only the cvs version
or rhythmbox works with it. I've checked rb and monkeysound out of cvs and
if they aren't included in garnome I think i'll try and build them myself.
Anyone got pointers on how to ./confiugure them to use garnome?
