still can't get garnome to run

I'm still trying to get garnome to run. Could someone look at the errors 
I'm getting to see what might be wrong. I'm using Red Hat 7.3, I have 
all of the gnome 2.0 files in /home/tinman/download/gnome-2.0.0 and I 
configured gar.conf.mk like this
FILE_SITES = file://$(FILEDIR) file:///home/tinman/download.gnome-2.0.0

The error I get when I run make install looks like this:

It looks like garnome does not try the directory where I put the files.

Any hel here would be appreciated.
