I just found the stupid thing.  Thanks, you actually promped me to
search a little harder for it.  

It would be neat if garnome could check if these things were installed
and perhaps even urpmi <package name> (or debian's also) but this is
probably just a pipe dream.

However it would be neat if garnome gave me a better error message.
