How do I get GARNOME to appear in the gdm menu?

Please, how do I install GARNOME so that it will appear as a permanent menu option in gdm?
I'm using Red Hat Linux 7.3 along with GNOME.
I've tried to follow the instruction in the README file, intented for Debian, but it doesn't seem to work.
I would appreciate all help.
