* Now builds with the following compilers, in addition to 
the existing GNU g++, and Intel compilers:
- SUN Forte CC 5.5
- IBM AIX xlC v7
- Tru64 C++ V6.5-042
- IRIX MIPSpro 7.4.2m
  (Older versions of all these compilers might also work.)
