GUI is now drawing airports.
http://www.best.com/~falconer/xplan.gif
program now caches the navaids and airports in memory rather
than looping once through the on-disk database every time
there's a redraw.
I need a better glyph to represent airports; anyone out there
with any artistic talents?
Other things I need:
* Someone to write code which will read the airways database
into an in-cache memory and remove the redundent segments
(i.e. look for pairs of segments joined only by a waypoint
with no actual turn, and combine them). I also need to look
for shared segments and combine them and rename them to
e.g. "V21-257".
* Anyone have an algorithm for placing labels on a map to
reduce clutter?
