Well, the discussions were private, but the final decisions were made
public and approved by the community. I think the whole deal was really
good for GNOME, and I am glad I and Miguel and Nat invested our time to
make it happen.

I was unhappy because I had to give up my pet project, but that's it. I
knew I had to do it. I still wish I had more time to help development of
Nautilus sometimes, but you just cannot do everything, and Evolution is
a lot of fun too.

Helix Code's strategy was to focus on the mail application and not the
file manager, and I knew that from the start. It was my own decision to
stay with Helix Code and work on Evolution; nor Helix Code nor Eazel can
be blamed for that.
