Hi all involved in F-Spot Goals,
Hi you that want to contribute to reach our goals,

Here's the status for the Goals !!!

past goals:
goal 06-01: almost done, need to be checked by Larry and submited.
goal 06-02: the code is resurrected, and made some scenario proposals.

current one:
goal 06-03: aka A Lot Of Small Things

* Export to Picasa (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=344851) :
Thomas is working on having both gnome-keyring-sharp and google-sharp in
the F-Spot buildchain to ease the testing part. You can already test it
and if anything goes wrong with the dependencies, ask me by email or
chat.
* Rename Photos, select Photos from the cli
(http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325166 and
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=344361 ): I marked the 337250
as dup of 325166, and proposed a first patch for Rename Photos. I'm
currently working on the cli thing, but comments are already welcomed on
the first part. Bmon also discussed the pro and cons of the default I
proposed.
* HIG Fixes ( http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=323237 ):
Gabriel started to review the existing patch and recommend examining
dialog one by one. You don't need to know anything about coding to help
on this one !!!!
* Scale on e-mailing
( http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=314559 ): nobody reviewed
the latest patch from Bengt. Download it, test it, crash it, report...
* Rotate on export ( http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=165645 ):
no comment yet on the patch proposed in april. Please review
* configure mq size for export to html gallery
( http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350339) a patch is there,
please review
* AssemblyInfo.cs ( http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350580 ):
a trivial one...

How can you help on this ?
- choose one item
- get the patch
- test it
- review it if you can
- report on it, discuss the behavior

Best Regards

Stephane

Thanks for the update, Stephane. I've been home for a few days and I'm
ready to start testing patches. As you may know I'm no programmer, but
I can test. I'd also like to translate the program to Hebrew and
possibly Russian.

As I need to keep my development version of Fspot seperate from my
'real' version, I'd like to know specifically what needs testing. Does
anybody have a 'work-out' that they do to new Fspot builds that goes
through all the features? If so, then email me so that I will know
what to start doing. My regular use will be on the stable Fspot, so
knowing what steps to take on the development version will help me
test it.

Thanks, everyone!
