Has anybody done any work on managing video files with f-spot? I think
it would be really nice to have video file integration. Is there
anybody else out there that would like this?
Here is a short list of the features I would like to see:
1. Import and manage video files the just like images.
- The files can be any video format that something like Gstreamer can handle.
- The files (a thumbnail) would show up on the main stage when browsing
2. Integrate Totem (or something like that) to play the files inside f-spot.
3. Enable some way to open a video editor (Kino, Diva, etc)
4. Export features. It would be nice to export to CD, Gallery, etc.
E-mail might not be a good idea. :)
That is basically it. I do not think the application needs to do
anything with the video files other than manage them. There are other
applications that are better suited for capturing and such.
I am more than willing to integrate this if the powers that be think
it is a good idea.
