Not a solution but yust to confirm that is probably a bug. Effectively
I'm able to start Ubuntu but once I attach some legends to my pictures
( file photos.db in /.gnome2/f-spot/photos.db ) then at next restart of
f-spot it crashes regularly with the same error message. Apparently the
only solution is to delete that file bu then one cannot use legends ...
... I'm waiting too for a more detailed solution to the problem
