If you pursue this, you might be interested in SharperCV, a set of CIL
bindings for OpenCV, developed at the university I'm at.

I wouldn't mind going to chat to the people involved to get them to
release it under a better license (LGPL or GPL) if there is interest.
Please let me know if I should.
