Hi Derek,
Just wondering if you are only looking at the time issue, or you also
run into the problem with which field to look at.
I found some bug report that indicated that the DateTime value did not
exist, but other values existed. And since my patch would set the
DateTime to whatever value it calculated, I had to check the different
versions of timestamp that existed.
DateTimeOriginal, DateTime, file creation time
Not sure this is the best though.
Anyway, since EXIF time is set when you read import the pictures, I also
choose to set the DateTimeOriginal to above mention time stamp if it did
not exist. A bit rude perhaps... but this is according to standards
(DateTimeOriginal should have a time value of when the picture was
taken)
