Hi guys,
The new web page really looks great, but I think the features page could
use a bit of help with its content.
In particular, the current page lists "Main User Interface" as its first
feature. To people who want to manage and edit and publish photos,
that's not much of a feature :-).
User-interesting features that F-Spot sports include:
RAW file support
Adjust photo exposure settings with live previews
Organize your pictures with tags
Flickr export
Burn photos to CD
Up to 200,000 photos in your library
Automatically import photos from thousands of models of cameras
(http://www.gphoto.org/proj/libgphoto2/support.php and all USB
mass storage cameras)
Image metadata is saved to EXIF and XMP
.
.
.
As a person who has photos to manage, these are very interesting
features to learn about.
Check out the aperture web page for comparison.
If someone is looking for a way to contribute to F-Spot, a great
Features section of the web site would be an excellent project.
Best,
Nat
