In cvs I've removed combined the vfs export with the Folder export. The
destination folder is a uri and will accept vfs uris. There are however
currently problems with authentication of vfs uris so you'd need to be
able to include the auth bits in the ftp: uri.
The auth problem is not easy to solve because the export currently
happens in a thread and the gnome authentication dialogs cannot be used
from a thread. I hope to have a solution at some point, but I don't
have one right now.
