Hi,
I have a patch ready for gphoto integration with f-spot. I filed a
bug at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=150018 . The
relevant information is there.
So far it can:
-scan for cameras and let you choose which one to use
-get a list of files and their previews from the camera and displays
them in a multi-select listbox
-copy selected files into specified directory with specified prefix
and increasing numbers
-import into db, but without automatically assigning a tag
Most of the work was in creating the bindings for libgphoto2, which,
if the patch is applied, would be required to build f-spot. It can be
found at http://forge.novell.com/modules/xfmod/project/?libgphoto2sharp
. I haven't created a release for it yet, so you would have to use
cvs.
Testing, comments, suggestions, etc. are welcome.
Thanks,
Ewen Cheslack-Postava
