Looks wrong to me.  And you need to include a changelog with patches.

You need to make sure the default drag action is move, and not copy.

And then you just need to implement it.  The code already handles move and copy properly - if the appropriate qualifiers are pressed (shift/alt/etc).  So you probably just need to alter the default drag action.
