Hi rodrigo, 

 The patch looks good. So since this problem occurs when the laptop is
suspended and the midnight refresh fails to run during this period, the
right fix would be, connecting a signal to know when laptop resumes from
the suspension and do the midnight refresh. Probably we can do it for
Head later.
