That would be very cool. You know I'd like to assist you with this. So
yell when you start with this stuff :-) (at GAUDEC I said something
about the java source files where it could get injected, remember?).

I'm not a java developer. That that won't stop me :p

I fear this will be very complicated :-(

I haven't. So I guess not (most developers of gnome-build are on the
anjuta mailinglist I think)
