I dont understand why this bug exists, it is a toggle, it isn't really a
radio button option.

(that menu is WAY over-designed anyway, why doesn't it just have 'hide'
or 'show' and nothing else, it SHOULD just honour the toolbar options -
but nobody seems to agree with that assessment).
