Shell part looks ok. I can't review the mail bit, since I didn't write
that code. It will have to be left to Jeff or Michael. Though, you do
need to split the ChangeLog up. There are separate ChangeLog files for
mail/ and shell/ that should contain the entries for those two bits.
And, I also just committed another patch which apparently conflicts
with the toplevel ChangeLog entry you made.
