The changes look fine. Please add ChangeLogs appropriately. 
Ideally, ChangeLogs also need some review to see if they capture the
change (or/and the reasons therein) correctly.
Also helps when somebody else has to commit a patch in a jiffy when 
the submitter is not around.

Nice to see that your mails are getting past the list :-).
